JOSEPH ELLIOT - 11/16 - 1/2 HOLLOW - BARBER'S NOTCH - SHOULDERLESS
This is an extremely old collectable 1/2 Hollow Sheffield vintage straight razor from Joseph Elliot in shiny condition that's between 160 and 192 years old.
This is history right there. This razor is from around the early 1800's since Joseph Elliot was active between 1821-1854.
The razor has professionally been restored and re-scaled preserving the original 1/2 Hollow grind. The razor looks amazing for its age. A few remaining barely noticeable micro surface pits. I also had to be careful not to lose the original engraving so some remaining surface pits remain around the tang engraving. Doesn't affect the shave or anything else. Still has the original grind marks.
Custom scales are Blue Paua ALVS with a tapered pre ban genuine Ivory wedge. This is 100% real Paua shell on a blue backing and topcoat durable acrylic layer.
