GEORGE. WOSTENHOLM & SON'S - I-XL- SHEFFIELD - 11/16 - 3/4 HOLLOW
This is a beautiful Sheffield steel vintage razor from George Wostenholm and son's.
The custom made scales are made of G10 Gray tapered with a G10 royal blue wedge.
The blade is very clean with no rust, cracks or chips.
Some minor barely noticeable remaining residual surface stains remain which were not worth removing as it would have altered the original finish and grind.
Blade has been cleaned and polished.
The blade measures 11/16
Grind: 3/4 Hollow - very subtle smiling spine and edge
Total weight: 1.6 oz
Total cutting edge: 2.7 inches
Hardware: Silver nickel pins. Stainless steel and brass washers
On the front shank it says: George Wostenholm & Sons I-XL - Celebrated razor - Washington Works - Sheffield
Extremely nice condition and example of at least a 150 years old George Wotenholm I-XL celebrated straight razor.
